At Everards, one of our aims is to make a beneficial contribution to the communities in which we trade.
From our pubs raising thousands of pounds every month for local and national charities to the Everards Foundation being involved with projects throughout the Midlands, we really do contribute to the local community.
Everards are involved in a range of activities including the donation of raffle prizes to schools and fund raising groups in the area, the sponsorship of local sports clubs, the support of local charities and one off projects.
Some of our achievements include:
The provision of computerised 'babies' for use at schools and youthgroups throughout the county
The Fairfield in Wigston raising over £3,000 for McMillan Cancer Care and Rainbows
The King Richard III raising £5,000 for the Leicester Royal Infirmary Children's Ward
A team from the brewery working with Riverside Community Colledge to upgrade the main hall
The Sun Inn at Gotham raising over £10,000 for Breast Cancer Care
The provision of a multi media trailer for Leicestershire Scouts
We won the bronze award in the education category at the Food and Drink Federation Community Parnership Awards in 2005 for our work with Riverside Community College.
