New dawn at the Sun Inn
The Sun Inn in Gotham, Nottinghamshire has successfully introduced its new menu for the first time in 20 years.
The Everards pub, on Gotham Square, boasts a friendly and relaxed atmosphere combined with the serving of traditional home cooking, which includes an extensive Sunday lunchtime carvery menu.
New licensees Anthony and Lynne Jones have been managing pubs since 1982 and took over the running of The Sun Inn on the 10th December 2007, and they are committed to providing an authentic real ale pub experience.
Anthony said "We have been running the pub for about six weeks now and things are really starting to take off. We are looking to attract new customers with the development of our new menu, but also stay faithful to our regulars with our range of real ales. The new Sunday menu especially has gained a reputation through word of mouth, but unfortunately it has been that popular we have had to turn people away, so booking in advance is definitely advisable!"
Lynne added "We are dedicated to offering good real ale and in time for the Six-Nations rugby tournament we have the popular "Pitch Black" ale on tap and we had organised a "Meet the Brewer" event for the 6th of February, but that sold out really quickly, so we'll be looking to putting another one on in the near future"
