New look for the Dominion

Picture about this news item

The new look Dominion pub in Glenfield, Leicestershire, has reopened following a £65,000 investment by Everards Brewery and the new licensees.

The Everards pub on Tournament Road opened with a brand new carvery offer and has been fully refurbished to boast contemporary décor, while retaining the atmosphere of a traditional English pub.

Creating seven full and part time jobs, the pub will be run by experienced licensees David and Sam O'Donovan. In addition to the carvery, (available on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) freshly prepared classic pub food will be served throughout the week. Using locally sourced produce wherever possible, the traditional hearty homemade dishes will include lasagne and cod and chips.

David, from Leicester, said: "We are delighted with the results and look forward welcoming regular customers and new faces alike.

"As well as the modernised interior, we also have a new heated outdoor seating area in anticipation of the forthcoming smoking ban."
