New Marketing Manager for Everards
Everards has announced Erika Hardy as the new marketing manager at the Leicestershire based Brewery.
Erika has been with Everards since June 2003 when she initially joined as brands and promotions co-ordinator and was promoted to brands manager October 2004. In her new role, Erika will be responsible for PR, database communications and events management as well as continuing to champion the brewery's cask ale brands.
Commenting on her new role, Erika said: "I am excited about my new position and am pleased to be continuing with the activity which has brought so much success to Everards during the last few years.
"Our cask ale brands are performing well in the market and I'm confident our range of innovative ales, which are being introduced throughout 2008, will prove to be equally as popular."
Stephen Gould, managing director for Everards, added: "Since she joined Everards, Erika has demonstrated an excellent understanding of today's pub and licensed trade sector as well as a high level of marketing flair. Her promotion to marketing manager is thoroughly deserved and I'm confident that she will make a significant contribution to the further development of the company."
Originally from Staffordshire, Erika has lived in Leicestershire since the age of two and attended the Robert Smyth School in Market Harborough. She later went on to study at the University of Bedfordshire where she gained a degree in marketing, followed by a post graduate diploma in marketing from Leicester's De Montfort University in 2004.
