Tiger goes to Brussels!

On Tuesday Dec 1st, a group of East Midlands brewers took their wares to show-case them in Brussels, and to discuss issues facing the brewing industry with EU legislators.
We took along some very welcome samples of Tiger. Pictured are Everards’ Operations Director Nick Arthur with East Midlands MEPs Emma McClarkin and Roger Helmer.
The event took place in the Brewers of Europe Building a stone’s-throw from the European parliament, and we were delighted to join our colleagues from other breweries to represent the great beers from the East Midlands.
Commenting on event, Helmer said: “Like many of my constituents I have a soft spot for local pubs and local brewers. It’s important that MEPs listen to the concerns of the industry as it faces difficult times, and competition from the supermarkets. I thoroughly enjoyed my glass of Tiger in Brussels — home away from home”.
