We are disappointed that duty on beer has continued to relentlessly rise, particularly in light of the recent research which showed 67% of voters believe tax on beer is already too high and should not have increased a further 5%.
Pubs play an important role in our communities and are small businesses who need support rather than higher costs. As a brewer we have worked hard to keep our cost prices static coupled with offering support to grow the business for our licensees, and will continue to do so. In addition we are proud supporters of the ‘Back the Pub’ campaign which gives consumers the opportunity to voice their opinions on the issue and petition their local MP click here to show your support.
