Celebrate Cask Ale Week With A Pint On Us

We trust our friends to recommend restaurants, films and holiday destinations and so why not take their advice on choosing a good drink? And all the more reason when someone else is paying for the pints.

We’re so confident everyone will love Tiger Best Bitter that we’re combining our Mission Enjoyable mystery shopper scheme, where ‘special agents’ visit and rate local Everards pubs to help monitor quality standards, with National Cask Ale Week’s challenge for ale lovers to ‘recommend a friend’ who hasn’t tried the drink before.

Participants receive £10 in capital bonds or £15.00 Everards Wine and Brewery vouchers to cover the costs of the visit.

Everards’ marketing manager Erika Hardy said: “We plan to utilise the network of pub fans already registered through Mission Enjoyable to help spread the word on Britain’s national drink, cask conditioned ale.

“Agents will be asked to go to Everards pubs and buy a pint of Tiger Bitter for themselves and a non ale drinking friend. They will then rate the overall quality of their pub visit, which will supply the licensee with some valuable customer feedback, and hopefully succeed in persuading their friend that ale is a great choice after all.

“Cask Ale Week is a fantastic idea which will see the industry unite behind one of its most treasured assets. By working together we can really make a positive difference to the way cask ale is perceived by pub goers nationwide.”
