High Achievers Are Thirst Past The Post

Posted on 9th April 2010

Everards Brewery hosted its Annual Licensees Lunch at Leicester Racecourse on Thursday 8th April. This year 234 licensees were able to enjoy full hospitality with the Everards team for a glorious day of racing. The event is a thank you to all licensees for their efforts throughout the year and 15 high achievers were recognised following outstanding performances over the last financial year.

Winners were congratulated by Richard Everard and Leicester Tigers player, Ben Woods, and each received champagne, flowers and an invitation to a trip to Jersey later in the year.

As well as successes within their respective pub businesses, judges also considered beer volumes and satisfaction scores from Everards’ mystery customer scheme, Mission Enjoyable.

Richard Everard said: “The last 12 months have been challenging for all manner of small businesses, not least those individuals striving to run a successful pub.

“We continue to be impressed by the levels of innovation, commitment and determination shown by all our licensees and it is a pleasure to see so many at this enjoyable day.

“We would like to congratulate our award winners. They clearly share our passion for great beer and delivering premium standards of service to pub customers.
