Cradock Arms Reopens Its Doors
Posted on 19th April 2010
The Cradock Arms on Knighton Road celebrated its reopening in National Cask Ale Week with a visit from Everards’ chairman Richard Everard.
The £350,000 renovation has transformed the pub both inside and out and is Everards’ biggest investment in 2010 to date.
Thirsty locals welcomed the opening and will be eager to make use of the new patio and garden as the lighter evenings and warmer weather approach. They can also sample a new food menu and a wide range of cask conditioned ales.
Licensee Nick Burrell is excited about the development of the much-loved local pub. He said: “We had an amazing team working really hard on all aspects of the project and I’m delighted with the results. The exterior work was difficult because of the snow early on but we got everything done and were delighted to reopen on time.
“We now can’t wait to welcome customers old and new to see what they think. The transformation of the pub makes it a more comfortable place for all of the community to spend time. It’s now the central focus of the Knighton area and a great pub for family and friends to enjoy all year round.”
Richard Everard said: “It was a pleasure to visit The Cradock Arms, which is a great example of Everards’ commitment to investing in its estate in partnership with licensees. Together we’re delivering first rate facilities and pubs the whole community can utilise and be proud of.”
