All Hands-On-Deck For Charity

For the third consecutive year Everards employees ‘The Local Heroes’ took to the River Soar as part of an annual dragon boat race in support of local cancer charity ProstAid.
The event is part of the Riverside Festival which takes place at nearby Bede Park and attracted over 15,000 visitors over the weekend.
Now in its 12th year, the weekend-long event includes live music and dance, children’s fair, BMX and trials bike displays and circus skills workshops.
PROSTaid is a prostate cancer charity serving Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire. Funds raised in support of PROSTaid go towards purchasing equipment for local hospitals and clinics, providing patient support staff and campaigning to educate and raise awareness about prostate cancer.
