Rollering Out The Barrel As Pub Celebrates World Cup

The hand painted mural promoting the World Cup can be seen outside the Aberdale on Shackerdale Road in West Knighton.
With a life sized Wayne Rooney heading the ball and England’s iconic Three Lions crest, Brian hopes the artwork will get people in the mood for cheering on the national squad.
He said: “We are screening all the big matches and thought it would be fun to decorate the pub on the outside as well as in the bar.
“It took the brewery’s sign writer two days to complete the painting and we’re really pleased with the end result. All we need now is an equally good performance from the England team in South Africa!”
As well as showing matches on the big screen, the Aberdale is offering World Cup themed snack food during throughout the tournament,
