Alan & Sarah welcome you all to The Black Horse, a traditional village pub packed full of real personality, real ales and real food (coming very soon).

Situated within the Aylestone Village Conservation Area and only 100m away from the Grand Union Canal, Great Central Railway and Aylestone Meadows Nature Reserve we have become a popular re-hydration stop for walkers, cyclists, doggies and of course the locals.

Serving all Everards Cask Ales and 2-3 guest ales constantly changing. A wonderful worldwide wine selection. An extensive range of continental bottled ciders, lagers and beer. New to the Black Horse, Cask Cider. And of course all the other usual draught and otherwise pub favourites.

With a Skittle alley available for hire or for fun, capacity, up to 50 people. Or hire out our Snug for a cosier affair of up to 20 people.

The rest of the pub comprises of an extensive Beer Garden and classic English Bar and Lounge areas and look out for our new improved Function Room now available to hire.

You can also look forward to Live Music Events happening every fortnight and our exciting Bonfire Night and St George’s Day week long Beer festivals.

Many of wonderful events are planned and tickets are available over the Bar.
