Our pub is a traditional country pub with real fires, fine wines, real ales and good food. We have four en-suite letting rooms that are ideal if you enjoy staying in a warm and welcoming environment.

We try and create a real sense of community spirit within the pub, but truth be told, the locals help make, not only the pub but the whole village a great place to be.
Whether you are just popping in for a drink, enjoying our food, or staying overnight with us, our team together with our locals will make your visit well worthwhile.

Wednesday
Pie Night: On Wednesday we do a pie night. We have a different selection of pies that are all individually hand made. Our pies that we offer are, steak and Stilton, steak, chicken, fish with mash and fish with a pastry casing. Furthermore, a vegetarian pie can also be provided. All of the pies are served with vegetables and fries and are priced at £6.50. Please note that booking in advance is highly advised on this night. In addition, the main menu is not available on this night due to heavy demand of the pies.

Thursday
Steak and Moules night.
Choose from either a tender hand cut rump steak served with salad and fries which is priced at £7.50, or from our Moules a la creme served with French fries £6.50. Moreover, on this night the main menu is available.
