The Opportunity

Sorry but we’ve found a great licensee to run The Globe but worry not, click here to see other great opportunities with Everards Brewery Ltd.

The Globe has been synonymous with serving fine ales and food since 1720, when quality ales were brewed using spring water drawn from its own well beneath the pub. which still exists today.

The Globe is iconic, and has been a beacon for all that is great for real ale lovers since Everards acquired the pub in 1887. The pub has a central bar which serves both sides of the pub. On the first floor there is a room with a pool table and separate bar which could potentially be used as a restaurant. The pub has a good quality, value for money pub food offer which includes doorstep sandwiches, nacho’s and pub classics like pie of the day, and fish & chips however with close proximity of the High Cross Shopping Centre, there is an opportunity to broaden the food offer.

The pub is popular with a wide range of customers, from office workers to shoppers, and although being a town centre pub, The Globe still has very loyal following.
