At the Star & Garter, there is something to suit everyone’s tastes! Whether it be one of our great value, home cooked meals, a!! Food is available from 12 noon till 2pm from Tuesday to Saturday and we have two sittings on a Sunday at 12 noon and 1.45pm. Our Best of British Menu is also available on a Thursday from 6pm – 9pm

Great Value Menu
With over 50 dishes available every day in our main menu you’ll be spoilt for choice! All dishes are prepared freshly using only the finest ingredients, sourced locally where possible. With starters from £1.75, main meals from just £3.25 and baguettes from £2.95

Sunday Roast

Sunday should be your day to rest so sit back and let us do the cooking (and the washing up too!). Enjoy generous slices of hot roast meats carved by our chef, served with a range of seasonal vegetables, roast potatoes, homemade Yorkshire puddings and all the traditional trimmings. All topped with lashings of gravy. Sunday Lunch is available in two sittings at from 12 noon and 1.45pm at the great price of £6.95.

Best of British
Celebrating some of our country’s finest meals, choose from a range of home cooked traditional dishes. Available Thursday 6.00pm – 9.00pm. 2 for £10 on selected dishes

Lite Bites
Fancy something a bit smaller? Our lite bites menu offers a great range of dishes for just £3.25. Available Tuesday – Saturday, 12noon – 2.00pm. Choose from:
• Ham, Egg & Chips
• Fish & Chips
• Scampi & Chips
• Sausage & Mash
• Homemade Chilli & Rice
• Sautéed Mushrooms in a Stilton & broccoli sauce served in a puff pastry case with chips
