The Vane Arms is a traditional English public house steeped in history serving sparkling real ales and quality wines. Situated in the picturesque village of Sudborough you can enjoy a beautifully prepared meal either in the historically rich building or on the recently refurbished dining terrace. We pride ourselves on getting it right: all our food is locally sourced with our menu reflecting this. Whether sat by one of the two inglenook fireplaces or the outside dining terrace, it is perfect for a quiet drink or to sample our freshly prepared food. A relaxed informal atmosphere awaits you at the Vane Arms!

This is a very exciting time for The Vane Arms. Extensive investment in the site will allow us bring the building into the 21st Century whilst still retaining its rural character. Currently our existing dining room can seat up to 14 people in a separate area away from the main bar. However in September work is being undertaken to create a large, purpose built dining room which will be able to seat up to 40 people. Completion is due at the end of October, but will not effect our ability to serve our customers – we will ontinue to provide lunch and dinner throughout the refurbishment
