Oyster StoutA fresh catch for you...

Oyster Stout is dark and full-bodied. Brewed with 42 real oysters to give a slightly salty character which contrasts beautifully with the sweetness of the beer, it has an enticing chocolate and treacle aroma.

Oysters and Stout are a famous match. The salty bite from the oyster meets the toasty chocolate in the stout and create a perfect balance. First matched in the 19th century when oysters were a popular bar snack, it wasn’t until 1938 that a London brewery actually put the two together in a beer. Ever since they have continued to be brewed as a classic combination but not all feature real oysters like this beer. There are even Oyster and Stout festivals to celebrate the pairing!

We’d like to thank our friends at Lincoln Green Brewery in Nottingham for welcoming our brewing and marketing team to brew Everards Oyster Stout.
