Azacca, an American hop is a perfect choice as an early addition, due to its high alpha acids, contributing mainly to our beer’s bitterness.

In the fermenter, we’ve dry-hopped with two varieties. On day one, Nelson Sauvin was dropped in, allowing the tropical notes to be showcased giving wonderfully complex, fruity aromas with English Goldings added right at the end to bring the rawness of the hop aroma, giving a hint of the traditional floral and herby notes to 4 x 4’s fruit and citrus forward character.
