Chardonnay's long popularity stems from its versatility. It is a robust, full-flavoured variety that takes well to oak or produces unwooded fruit styles. It can be aged or drunk young and is a great accompaniment to most foods.

Harvested at night, the Chardonnay was crushed and pressed, and the resultant juice was clarified. Fermentation was conducted in stainless steel tanks using a select yeast strain. Light used of oak has added creaminess and vanillin, giving the wine more depth and weight.

Coldridge Estate Chardonnay - 10.5% from South Eastern Australia.

A fabulous example of a classic Australian Chardonnay.

Soft, fat, rich and buttery, this has aromas of citrus and ripe peaches on the nose and more fresh stone-fruit and tropical fruit flavours on the palate. Well-balanced, round and supple on the finish.
