Made Local Fund
Do you know a community project that needs funding? We can help.
After the success of last years projects where we had over 200 applications and 12 communities benefitting from a split of the £20k pot, we are delighted to announce that the Made Local Fund is open once again for nominations!
Thanks to our friends at Carling, we are giving the communities surrounding our pubs the chance to access up to £20k. All you have to do is fill out a simple form and nominate any community project that needs a bit of money to either get it off the ground or keep it going!
We had such a mixture of entries last year from establishing brand new community groups to maintaining existing ones. We saw the creation and celebration of the 200th Morsbag - a bag made from recycled clothing in an effort to Save our Seas from pollution caused by plastic bags and were lucky enough to go along with the team at the Peter Le Marchant Trust as they set sail on a canal boat running one of their many trips for the elderly and vulnerable in society. The money even funded a brand-new wheelchair for the Warwickshire Bears basketball team helping to improve the game for one competitor in particular, Michelle who loves the chair and has inspired her to train more often, upping her fitness level and passion for the game.
These projects wouldn't have been possible without the funding from Carling and the help of community project group Semble.
It was a pleasure to work with so many different people and we can't wait to do it all again this year.
Below are just a few pictures of the people who benefitted and their projects. You can read more and enter your project here
