Proton Line Cleaner & Glass Cleaning Products

We wanted to share an update on Proton our supplier of Line Cleaner, and glass cleaning products. We have experienced a turbulent time with them of late, as they have recently been taken over by Selden Research, unfortunately we didn’t receive any notice of this change, as it has happened very quickly and as I’m sure you’ll be aware, we have been out of stock of key lines as a consequence.

We’re pleased to share that we are now back in stock of these lines and are working to ensure that we have good stock holdings across the range.

Whilst all other lines remain unchanged, Protinate Line Cleaner will now be sold without the dye tracer, as unfortunately this is no longer being produced. We’d like to confirm that the product is exactly the same as you are used to, and we advise that you follow the same safety procedures as you usually would. (Full PPE gloves, goggles, aprons and protective footwear)

We Recommend……

While flushing beer lines out with water count how many pints of beer are pulled through at the bar so you can work exactly how much line cleaner to pull through to make sure all beer lines are full of line cleaner, this will also indicate how much water you will need to pull through on final water rinse. We recommend twice the amount of liquid in beer lines to make sure all traces of line cleaning chemicals have been properly rinsed out before reconnecting beer products.
