The Employment Rights Bill is poised to transform flexible working arrangements across the UK.
From 2027, employees will benefit from stronger legal protections when submitting flexible working requests.
These include a mandatory consultation before any refusal, a written explanation if a request is declined, and a requirement that all refusals are both reasonable and supported by evidence.
