Updated Advice on how to Check Scottish £20 and £50 Notes

As a consequence of the Polymer series of Scottish Bank notes to replace the older paper series of issued notes, the levels of counterfeit Scottish Bank notes in circulation has been significantly reduced.

Despite this, the ACBI following consultation with the UKNCO have produced the documents ‘Know your Scottish Polymer £50 notes’ and ‘Know your Scottish Polymer £20 notes’ to help assist individuals and ensure that the notes they receive as payment are genuine.
