This is not about wishing for snow, this is a collaboration of ideas & stories to take us from the New Year to Spring in these ever-changing times.
We may be unsure as to when we can all resume back to traditional trading, but we can still continue to plan & adapt.
Project Snowball is bringing together the fantastic resilience & innovation from you & the home team, continuing to share stories that bring innovation, community spirit, charitable support, positivity and more to show the nation #pubsmatter & inspire each other to do our best to make 2021 a great year.
With our leading involvement with One Voice and other supportive groups such as the BII, CAMRA, BBPA we will be also sharing the inspiring ideas & heart-warming stories to remind all #PUBSMATTER.
WHAT CAN I DO?
Whilst we don’t know exact details of the next tier decisions & future challenges, the last few months have shown we can all adapt to change and we need to continue to plan, innovate, support our communities and prepare for the day we can open our doors.
We want your ideas and your feedback on driving Project Snowball as we plan and support each other for saying good riddance to 2020 and starting 2021 as positively as we can Whatever Boris throws at us!

WHAT ELSE? REVISITED CAMPAIGN
All those huge family & friends’ occasions, key dates, bank holidays, major sporting events and traditions that were missed in 2020 we want to double-up! Wouldn’t this be great if we could make this a National Campaign!
For once Valentine’s Day could be a great occasion just tables of two! Or what does takeaway Valentine’s Day look like? Should we together all agree a date for a Christmas celebration in Spring/Summer. Or why not have two Mother’s Day’s for the one we missed out on last year too! How can we all together make 2021 a year to remember for all the right reasons!
We are currently collating a list of all these calendar dates and will share with you later!
WHAT ELSE? #PUBMATTERS
We want to continue sharing those inspiring stories to remind everyone the importance of you & your pub and why pubs matter. We’ve seen great posts and uptake in getting this out there, but we will be shouting about this regularly and need your help to continue to drive the #PUBMATTERS message nationally.
In the meantime, feel free to share your ideas, give us your feedback and together let’s focus on the new decade, gladly saying farewell to 2020.
