Managing Bad Behaviour

The BII has recently received a number of calls from members who have encountered incidents of unacceptable behaviour in their pubs, which resulted in the removal of customers from the premises.

In some cases, edited smartphone footage has later been used to support legal claims, often weeks after the original CCTV footage had been deleted.

Without evidence of the initial misconduct, members may be exposed to potential legal risks.
