Save our Seas is an environmentally conscious initiative led by Harborough Morsbags Pod, a local sewing group where a dedicated group of volunteers upcycle unwanted fabric, donated to them by the community, into reusable shopping bags called Morsbags.
St Crispin’s Church provides a lunch group for people living on low incomes and the elderly who feel isolated and lonely. The group survives on donations from attendees and left-over food donations from Waitrose and Tesco.
The Peter Le Marchant Trust has been running highly subsidised canal boat trips for the elderly, disabled and seriously ill for over 40 years.
