The Griffin Inn is a multi-award-winning pub and wedding venue, sat in one of the most sought-after villages in Leicestershire. Surrounded by fields and countryside it’s no wonder this venue is booked up by brides a year in advance!

Current landlord Jon has been at the pub for 20 years, ran as a family pub with his son Jay, Jon is now ready to slow things down whilst Jay is wanting to explore a different path, outside of the pub life he has known since growing up here. Swithland is a beautiful village set in the Charnwood Borough, close to many a local tourist attraction such as Swithland Woods, Bradgate Park and The Great Central Railway. Surrounded by lots of picturesque villages, there is plenty do and see in the area.

Although surrounded by countryside, thanks to the A6 your are only 20 minutes from Loughborough Town Centre and 30 minutes from Leicester City Centre. There is public transport in the village and the river soar also runs close by.
