The pub is in the Leicestershire village of Sileby, which sits just east of the River Soar in the district of Charnwood. It is eight miles north of the city of Leicester and five miles southeast of Loughborough.

Sileby has some great amenities with its numerous shops; hairdressers, newsagents, primary schools and a secondary school a few miles away. Nearby villages include Barrow upon Soar, Mountsorrel, Ratcliffe-on-the-Wreake, Seagrave and Cossington.

It is close to the A46 and the train station provides onward journey to Loughborough and Leicester.

Watermead Country Park is less than a 10 minute drive away. With a network of lakes woodlands and nature reserves, ideal for walking, running and cycling.
